It seems that the Legendaries think that the Pokémon Trading Card Game is too hot right now, because the king of the Crown Tundra is cooling things down for us! The legendary Calyrex gallops in to give us the next mainline Sword & Shield set, called Chilling Reign! Due out in June, the new set further explores the Galar region, featuring Pokémon from the video game’s Crown Tundra DLC.

Chilling Reign looks to include new V and VMAX forms of Calyrex’s evolutions, Ice Rider Calyrex and Shadow Rider Calyrex, as well as other Pokémon from the Japanese card game sets Matchless Fighters and Silver Lance/Jet-Black Spirit.

While Chilling Reign is a month later than the typical May set, the Pokémon Company has communicated that they expect to resolve their fulfillment issues soon. People aren’t expecting further delays, and Chilling Reign should be on time in June.
